by sailor8:It depends on who they are talking to. If I was to be talking to another American I would talk about where he was from or what he did for a living, things like that. If I was talking to a Chinese man I would be asking for information on things he knows about China, directions to something somebody else had mentioned to me, the food, places to go, things to see. Things like that. If it was a Chinese woman I might ask about good places to shop, or to get good meal, or things to see. Some questions are universal while others are what we call man talk.AG
by We Never Left!!:The usual male crap like the sizes of their johnsons and bank accounts. It’s the same the world over. However, as any HeiDao LaoDa can tell you, it only takes a good hacker with skills and a good hooker with scissors to “cut them down to size”. ;^)WNL

need to find a way for someone to travel

Best answser:
Charlie:There are no direct buses from the U.S. to that city. You need to take a bus from a border town to Mexico city…buses to all parts of Mexico go out from Mexico City. I sure wish you had said WHERE in the U.S. you will be coming from. You can take a Greyhound to McAllan, TX. There is a very nice, big bus station there with buses going to Mexico City and many other places in Mexico at all hours all day. To go to the state of Tabasco, you will first need to take a bus to Mexico City. There, you can ask at one of the big bus company desks which bus line has buses going to Tabasco, then ask at that company’s desk for ticket info. You will probably arrive at the TAPO station in Mexico and may need to transfer to the ORIENTE station for your bus. ( there are 4 huge bus stations in Mexico City. buses going east and south leave from the Oriente station.) There are many Mexican bus lines and only a few with websites, and ferer still with websites that work. None going to Tabasco have websites i can find. the article below is full of good info. You may have to Take a bud to Villahermosa, then get a smaller regional bus to jalapa, since it is a small town.

My family and I want to go on vacation this summer and right now we’re thinking about either doing a Royal Caribbean or Carnival cruise to the bahamas or the caribbean or flying out to somewhere tropical. What do you think would make the most sense? There will be two 15 year olds and two adults. Also if you suggest we fly out to somewhere, where would you suggest and why?

Best answser:
Akami:Personally, I think summer is a really poor time for a cruise – hurricane season. I live in the tropics for part of the year, and you become very attuned to hurricanes. Since it will be summer, if you are in the USA the whole country will be warm. Maybe consider a beach area in continental USA such as Myrtle Beach or Virginia Beach or Atlantic City. They will all have great weather, are a lot of fun, and it is easy to get out of the path of hurricanes.

I can’t find any schools offering that course. How can I do this?

Best answser:
thecheap…:You have to go to a pharmacy college for 6 years in Japan if you want to become a pharmacist. There is no course in other countries.

Other answser:
by heika:I have never seen a foreigner working in a Japanese pharmacy! I am sure that you will not find any schools outside of Japan that can prepare you to be a pharmacist there. Your language skills, both verbal and written, would have to be the equivalent to that of a native. (A misunderstanding could be tragic.) While modern medicine is practiced in Japan, there is still a lot of traditional “medicine” being practiced, especially in remote (rural) areas. Unless you are Japanese, completely fluent and familiar with the culture I don’t think that dream is going to work out.Lifes experiences
by Quinn:Why would any school outside of Japan offer a course for a job IN JAPAN? I’m going to give you the benefit of a doubt and assume that you are a child trying to learn how to go about this.First, any degree or professional certification you get in one country does NOT have any worth in another.Second, you don’t get to work in anything related to the practice of medicine in Japan unless you can pass the JAPANESE medical board examines, and, no, they are not in English.Third, no Japanese employer will hire you because they are NOT going to take a chance that you might mess-up on a prescription and cause a death of a client. This is because unless you are an incredible linguist and have flawless Japanese no Japanese is going to believe that you actually understand what they say to you much less that you can read what a doctor has written on the prescription form. Have you ever seen a prescription form written by an English speak doctor? Trust me, it is even harder to read in Japanese.
by Vinegar Taster:ThreeDayP is right on this one. It’s not going to happen. It’s one more of those jobs that only a Japanese can do. You would need to have above average Japanese skills. Not only speaking, but reading and writing as well. There’s no room for error. Even then, most Japanese wouldn’t want to deal with a non Japanese in this kind of situation.
by ThreeDay…:You can’t. Won’t happen. Your dog don’t hunt.
by Jack:And you are fluent in Japanese. Well done!

4 year degree grad but no job!

Best answser:
Mr. Opportunity:Unless you have been laid off recently and collecting unemployment, it is very little assistance. That goes the same if you filed for Public Assistance.I would say that you do some die hard nose networking and start distributing your resumes out with employers and agencies. Also you did not mention what your degree is in?I would recommend that you post your resume on line and look at employment agencies as well. You should realize that living in NYC without employment is not so easy to survive.

Other answser:
by Yawker said it FIRST!:Do everything Mr. Opportunity recommended BEFORE you set foot in NYC! There is no way to survive without a job unless you plan to live on the street and beg for food.
by emgee:You can’t.

Me and my girlfriend are going to Egypt June 20th so it is going to be unbelievably hot. Between us we are goin to take the following factors. 30 20 for the first 3/4 days depending on how it goes 15, then maybe a lower factor nearer the end of the 2 weeks. Would 1 bottle of 200ml 20 30 15 another be ok? Considering we tend to use each factor for maybe 3/4 days each multiple time a day.

Best answser:
Mike:5.5 Galons, just kiddingEl cairo is really hot so I would take like 3 bottles of 200ml

Other answser:
by sabrina:it depends of course on your skin, i am fair and never go below a factor 25 usually 35 and a standard size bottle of nivea i think its about 200 ml lasts me a week. But i always stay in the shade, and i dont usually spend the whole day outside and thats just for me. Frankly i dont think unless you are very dark skinned you will get much lower than about factor 15 anyway. so probably 4 bottles between you should be enough. maybe 5 to be on the safe side. depends how much you go out. but any cosmetics are very expensive out there. Also if you are flying direct to your destination you could buy some in the english airport. But if you are going via cairo be warned if you are carrying any liquids including duty free. they will not let you keep it. it will be taken anyway from you. So put it in your case.

I’m sending a package to my friend in Hawaii, because she has sent me all this cool stuff from Hawaii but i don’t know what to send her, can anyone help?

Best answser:
Lisa B:I was just eating some almond brittle from Spain, and this made me think that I’ve never seen “brittle” type candy in Hawaii. I don’t think it would be an issue with agricultural control. You might also think about a picture book of great places in Ohio, because the pictures would show how different Ohio is from Hawaii. My third thought would be something that reflects local arts and crafts, especially old-fashioned stuff. Hawaii is too new to have much of that. An old friend gave me a trivet meant to hold an old flat-iron, and someone had painted it in pretty colors. That’s the kind of thing I’m thinking of.Don’t go for any common things, those are all available in Hawaii (at Costco and Safeway).Don’t let the stupid responses make you feel bad. Your question is a very nice one.

Other answser:
by JVHawai’…:Hmmmm – - – most apples, berries and similar items are grown in the mainland and sent to Hawaii so perhaps Regional specialties: German food is hard to get in Hawai’i, there are only a few mainland style deli’s s0 perhaps : German Strudel, any Ohio grain whiskey or rye? German Sauerkraut.Lamb is rare in Hawai’i despite the number of Indians and Pakistanis: maybe a batch of Lamb Bar-B-Que ribs?As another answerer noted: specialty crafts that scream Ohio, items from the Rock
